Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.

I'm walking with my colleagues and friends this year as a team, Immunologists Fighting AIDS.  We all work at the Baylor Institute for Immunology research and we're raising money for AIDS Arms Inc, a local AIDS charity organization here in Dallas.  Researching for a cure and a vaccine to AIDS is something we are all working towards in the lab, but we haven't forgotten that while we are working to to fight HIV there are 39 million people worldwide (20000 in the DFW area) who are living with HIV/AIDS. 

Whether it be for financial reasons or because they have been abandoned by family and friends, many people cannot manage the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS on their own.  Since it's inception the Life Walk has raised over $7 million for AIDS Arms Inc.  So let's keep a good thing going and keep up that level of support for those who need it!
