My personal message:

Gathering social media professionals, technologists, friends and family and otherwise talented people, Social Media for Social Change was born of the idea that the social media community, these “agents of change” can get together for one night, to support one cause.

In our second event in New York City, we hope to gather 200 to 300 guests together for a night of fundraising, network, entertainment and other fun.

Our cause for this year is hunger relief. With record unemployment in America, and the collapse of the financial industries that provide much support to NY-based hunger relief organizations, we’re proud to announce we’ve partnered with City Harvest, Inc to help the hungry of New York City.

100% off all proceeds from SM4SC NYC will go to City Harvest, Inc. Using FirstGiving, your donations go directly to those that are working directly to help feed hungry people in New York.
