Then mark your calendars for the best Strut-A-Mutt event ever! Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the beautiful oceanfront Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter from 8 AM to Noon.
We are so excited this year to be moving to this scenic oceanfront park which is much better suited for this special event. Because of the move, we are expecting a much larger turnout this year. The 6th Annual Strut-A-Mutt is meant to be a great time for both owners and their dogs. If you don't have a dog, come on out and walk with us anyway or check with our shelter and maybe we can lend you one for the event. Our doggies are always in the mood to get out for a walk!
This year we are so happy to have IHOP as a sponsor and they will be serving a free breakfast to all of our participants.
This event is to raise money for all of the animals in our care at Safe Harbor. Download your registration online or stop in at any of our departments at 185 E. Indiantown Rd. and pick one up so that you may start raising money now for the walk. You may also call 747-5311 to find out about other convenient locations around the county where you may also pick up your registration form.
Early registration is $35.00. There will be free Strut-A-Mutt T-shirts and doggie bandanas for our walkers while supplies last, so hurry and get your registration in fast!
The mission of Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital is to help animals in need. Those that are sick, injured, abused, neglected and abandoned have top priority. Safe Harbor offers low-cost spay/neuter services, a full service veterinary hospital open to the public, boarding and grooming services.
