Wow, it's been a year since Heather left us and still I think of her every day.  She was such a wonderful friend and inspiration to everyone she met! 

Heather had a passion to get the word out about Scleroderma and help those who were affected by it.  Each year she set what I thought were lofty fundraising goals surrounding one of the "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" walks, and each year her friends helped her reach and surpass those goals!    In that spirit, I decided that I must try to continue in her footsteps!  My goal of $4,000 is small in comparison, but I hope with the help of her friends and mine, I can reach it! 

All donations will benefit the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation, whose three-fold mission is: 1) To provide education and emotional support to people with scleroderma and their families, 2) To stimulate and support research designed to identify the cause and cure of scleroderma as well as improve methods of treatment, and 3) To enhance the public's awareness of the disease.

Each donation, whether $5 or $500, is greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward achieving this mission and honoring our friend Heather.
