Welcome to the Puyallup Police Department's online fundraising website for the Special Olympics of Washington.
We are so excited that you are partnering with us to raise much needed funds to send Washington Special Olympic athletes to their World Games held in Idaho, USA.
One hundred percent (100%) of the funds that you contribute and help raise go towards supporting the athletes in Washington State. Funds are used to purchase game uniforms and equipment, as well as covering travel expenses, lodging, and food for the athletes and their family. Without your help, thousands of Special Olympic athletes would not be able to participate in the Games.
Their participation helps build self-confidence, athletic abilities, life skills, and the courage to face difficult challenges. Athletes tell stories of courage, determination, hope, and inspiration - none of which is possible without the generous support of people like you.
An expression often used within the Special Olympics program is "Be a fan of Courage. Be a fan of Dignity." Your support furthers a wonderful group of individuals working to facilitate a world of courage, dignity, and advancement of those in our community with special needs.
Napoleon Hill said, "It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others succeed."
Thank you for your financial support to help others succeed with courage and dignity.
