As for the past 2 years, this project is about a crazy guy (read: me!) who wants to ride 3,000 miles from coast to coast on his bike in less than 12 days, in order to raise money and awareness for Partners In Health. But it’s also about a guy who just wants to realize his dream, and by doing so trying to help people who are not as lucky as he is. This project is simply about passion, dreams, effort, love, compassion, solidarity. I don't have to convince you that PIH does a fantastic job in many resources-poor countries. The situation of health care is beyond our imagination. But we collectively can do something. However, I know that there are thousand of great and various charities in need of your help. I will never tell you to fund PIH versus another charity. My role is simply to promote Partners In Health. At the end of the day, it's going to be your decision to help PIH, to help another charity, or even to do nothing. No one can blame you for that decision.
