Thank you for visiting my Walkabout fundraising page. I’m the very proud chairman of the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Third Annual Sjogren’s Walkabout and leader of our area support group. I’m proud because we have the greatest people anywhere! Texans are passionate about what they believe in and do things BIG! Last year our Walkabout raised a whopping $22,000 to support the programs of the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation, making our Walkabout the second largest in the country! The foundation’s programs, which include research and patient and physician education, are so important. Maybe one day soon we’ll have a cure. Maybe one day soon we won’t have to wait an average of seven years for a diagnosis. In the last several years that I’ve been involved with the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation, I’ve been amazed to see the incredible progress that we’ve made toward these goals. I’m working to make the progress faster, not only for myself but also for our offspring who are at genetic risk for developing Sjogren's and other autoimmune diseases. Please join me in supporting the work of the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation and make a difference in this disease!!
