Hi everyone!

My trip to Capetown is only 3 months away! Time is flying and I'm getting REALLY excited!

I'm heading to Capetown for a 4 week program focusing on healthcare challenges through Child Family Health International. The program places healthcare professionals (like me!) in  different hospitals and community clinics within the suburbs of Capetown and allows them firsthand exposure in underserved communities, This seems like the perfect opportunity for me to combine my love for travelling and experiencing new places with my desire to help those in need.

CHFI encourages fundraising as a way to pay the $2500 program fee. They have partners in each country, all of whom benefit directly from the program fees and presence in their community.  CFHI is committed to ensuring that your donations get to the places and people that need them the most.

Child Family Health International is a 16-year-old nonprofit organization based in California with the mission to build and strengthen healthcare services for underserved communities worldwide. They focus on sending medical residents and students to South Africa and other countries around the world to support community health projects, participate in medical education and helping those in underserved communities.
