Can you imagine moving to another country and not being familiar with the language or culture?. International Friendships (IFI) is a registered Ohio State University student organization and Christian community group seeking to promote friendship and hospitality for international students. Staff members work closely with volunteers from local churches to provide various services that address the social, cultural, and spiritual interests of international students. Our activities are open to students from all cultural and religious backgrounds.
We have a great volunteer base, and are continually searching for ways to improve our ministry to internationals throughout Central Ohio. And that requires new volunteers and funding sources. The 2009 Ride For The Nations is a fun biking and walking event to raise awareness and funds for the ministry of International Friendships.

GIVE: International Friendships is a registered nonprofit. Contributions are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Consider making an additional donation beyond you registration fee.
FUNDRAISING: Do you like the concept of “riding for a reason” and you’re willing to raise $100, $500 or $1000 by riding or walking in this event? For example, if you got ten people to sponsor you at just 50 cents a mile and rode 63 miles, you would raise $315 towards the mission of International friendships! And just think how impressed your friends will be when you tell them you rode a metric century!
VOLUNTEER: When putting on an event as complex as our annual Ride For The Nations, there is always a surplus of tasks and a shortage of workers! We need workers at the registration booth, people to ensure rider safety, to serve food at the snack stops and to help with cleanup and teardown activities. SILENT AUCTION: Do you own a business or have a favorite organization and you’re willing to donate goods or services to be auctioned off at the event? Typically auction participants bid on items for personal use. Here are some popular donated items from past auctions.
