Epilepsy is the third most common neurological disorder in the U.S. About as many people have epilepsy as have cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease – combined.
Why should you care?
Because it can happen to you, your children, your spouse, your parents, your neighbor, or your colleagues at work. Your daughter falls while riding her bicycle causing a head injury that scars the brain tissue. Your newborn son has a trauma or high fever at birth. Your aging mother has a stroke causing an interruption of blood flow the brain and partial seizures ensue. Suddenly, a seizure happens out of the blue.

We provide the guidance, information, directions to medical treatment and pharmaceutical resources, and the understanding and compassion needed in a time of uncertainty and crisis. Fortunately, you may not need our assistance at the moment. But over 360,000 Floridians do.

How can you help?
There are several ways you can help, whether or not you can join us for the walk:

- If you'd simply like to make a tax-deductible donation, click the Donate button on the right.
- Register for a walk
- Can’t make a walk? Register as a Virtual Walker
- Even better: create your own online Personal Fundraising Page. You can personalize it with your photos and personal message. Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues – anyone you think will help you reach your personal fundraising goal.
- Best of all: create your own Fundraising Team. Create a Team Fundraising Page, have your team members create their own pages, and share your pages with everyone.

Option 1)
If you’d like to make a general donation and will not be creating a Personal Fundraising page, please click the “Donate” button at the upper right of this page. (If you’d like to donate to a specific friend or colleague that already has a Personal Fundraising page, search for their page by entering his or her name in the search box.)
Option 2)
If you will be creating your own Personal Fundraising page to help us fundraise for the event, follow these easy steps:
- Click the Get Started button.
- If you will be attending one of the walks, select that walk. If you can’t attend the actual event, select “Virtual Walker”
- Click “Register Now”
- Select the number of walkers or virtual walkers you are registering.
- Enter your e-mail and then complete the registration process. (If you'd like to create your own team, choose "Add a team". If you'd like to join an already existing team, select the team name. You can be part of a team or not - it's your choice.)
- After you are registered, you will have the option to create your own Personal Fundraising page. Once you create your page, you can go back to it and then click the “Sponsor me now” button to donate any amount you may wish to donate. This amount will be credited to your fundraising efforts.
