My personal message:
Thank you for visiting my fund raising page.  I only just began running for fitness in June, and I was excited to find an opportunity to run for a cause very close to my heart.  As someone who has experienced lifelong personal and familial struggles with despair and depression, I have the utmost appreciation for organizations like Samaritans, who reach out into the community in attempts to strengthen and heal individuals and families affected by suicide.  The education and resources provided by suicide prevention organizations can truly make a tremendous impact on the lives of those facing the isolation and hopelessness of clinical depression.

I appreciate your support for my cause.

The Ninth Annual "Running For Someone Else's Life" 5k takes place on the Charles River in Boston on September 29th, 2007.
