How: Click the orange "Get Started" button above to sign up for the event. Once you register, you will have the ability to create your own personalized fundraising web page you can share with family and friends to introduce them to BKBTF, request their support, and track your fundraising progress. While this fundraising step is entirely OPTIONAL we encourage you to join us in this effort and here's why...
We are all keenly aware of the economic challenges that many people face and this situation is no different for our sponsored patients. Now more than ever, it is important that we continue to raise funds in order to maintain the ability to help these individuals have a fighting chance in battling this disease. Developing educational materials in print and on the web, providing access to supplements and treatments that aren't covered by insurance, and having the ability to fund groundbreaking research against this disease all cost money. Because the BKBTF is entirely funded by private donors and supporters like you, we turn to you and ask for your assistance as we continue to "pay forward" and help the very people who need it most. Contributing $20 to register for the race is much appreciated, but leveraging your participation 10 times over by finding 10 friends willing to sponsor you for $20 really helps turn the dial by creating $200 for the BKBTF.
A modest effort on your part can have a huge impact upon the BKBTF and the network of brain tumor patients and families that we support. Every dollar counts and we are asking you to step up to the plate and lend us a hand in this effort. Will you join us in our passionate pursuit of what's possible?
Did you know?
1. Every day an estimated 482 people are diagnosed with a brain tumor in the United States - that's about one every three minutes!!!
2. There are over 120 different types of brain tumors, making accurate and efficient treatment complicated
3. Brain tumors are the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children under the age of 20

The Bruce Kaye Brain Tumor Foundation seeks to change the outlook of brain cancer and lead efforts to find a cure, delivering support and hope to patients and their families along the way. This unique organization fills a critical gap in conventional treatment options available to brain cancer patients as it offers education and information in the areas of nutrition, supplementation, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), cutting-edge conventional therapies, and the mind-body connection. In addition, BKBTF offers financial support to patients in need and seeks to fund research demonstrating the impact of an evidence-based nutrition and supplement protocol combined with traditional treatments vs. standard treatment alone.
BKBTF sees a future where all our loved ones would have more time and a fighting chance against a diagnosis that is widely viewed as a death sentence. Join us as we continue to be in passionate pursuit of what's possible...
We're honored to have a tremendous community of friends, supporters, and new faces participating in our Inaugural 5K run/walk, taking place on one of Bruce's favorite paths in Folsom Lake State Park. Funds raised will enable us to continue sponsoring the evidence-based supplement protocols of over 15 patients, accept new patients, and fund research to evaluate the impact of a nutrition and supplement protocol combined with traditional treatments vs. standard treatment alone.
