Our Mission: To help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.
Our Vision: successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to brighter futures, better schools, and stronger communities for all.
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Park County we believe giving children an adult mentor they can look up to and spend time with is a key component in helping them reach their potential. These thoughts are backed by research on both a national and local level. According to a national study conducted by Private/ Public Ventures children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, when compared to their peers, are 46% less likely to begin using drugs, 27% less likely to begin drinking, 55% less likely to skip school and 33% less likely to have violent confrontations. We are changing the way children grow up in America, and we need your help!
