40 years.
This will be Andy's' fortieth consecutive season. Forty years of fostering creativity; forty years of inspiring and encouraging our youth; forty years of providing innovative and original family-friendly entertainment; forty years of employing local artists; forty years of memories.
To celebrate our forty years of continued success we are embarking on an ambitious fundraising campaign, and we want you to be a part of it: $40,000 for 40 years. A big part of this is private (entirely tax-deductible!) donations.
At this time last year, it was unclear if Andy's would be able to continue. Following an unprecedented fundraising effort, we are proud to say that Andy's has had a wildly successful thirty-ninth season. For those of you who donated last year: it worked. Andy's is on firm financial ground and looking forward towards the future.
So why are we coming to you again this year, seeking your generous support once more? While we have overcome many obstacles that were holding Andy's down, we have a few more to work through. First and foremost among these obstacles is our roof - we need to replace it as soon as possible. This project is estimated to cost $17,800.
There is a bright future that Andy's is walking into - a future free of the financial manacles that have been holding us down for years. When Andy's can operate without having to worry about these obstacles we will be free to entirely focus on what we do best: facilitating he creative growth of local youth.
